I was born and raised in Oxford and most of my career has been working with Adults with Autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. I have 12 year old identical twins and a deaf son with learning difficulties almost 5. I am interested in interior design and spatial planning, I regularly visit Rightmove and checkout floor plans and decide how I would best use the space. I love taking photographs and being creative, I am always problem solving and dreaming up how best to make use of space at home.
For me this Foundation course isn’t just about working towards a new career path. It’s about laying foundations for a better future with my family and showing my twelve year old daughters that hard work and dedication can get you your dreams. I want to learn and experience everything creative. I may not be good at everything or show confidence but I hope that will grow.
I also hope my critical evaluations of my work and the work I see will improve.
I want to have a career in something I love and I am good at. (But I am not yet sure what this is so I hope that in the following weeks I will know and be confident with my decision.)
I hope to have an outstanding portfolio, full of work and things I have learnt.
I hope to finish foundation with a grade to be proud of.
I want to be accepted for Higher education at Blackburn University and get a degree and have a great career opportunity at the end of it.
